To sign up for classes come by a view the projects and reserve you place in class. Our
class policy will be that you must sign up and pay for the class in advance to reserve your
place. If we ever need to cancel you will receive a full refund or we will reschedule for you.
If you do not show up or just no longer wish to take the class there is no refund. If we are
able to fill your spot or you have a personal conflict or emergency we will refund. These
rules are as much for your fellow quilters as for you.

Book time on the Gammill Machine. The first hour we will furnish a charity quilt and give full hands on lesson or you can start out on your own quilt top and we will give you the same hands on first hour and assist in the process of completing your quilting experience. Rent of first class $25.00 an hour. One hour minimum. $5.00 each quarter hour there after. ********************************************************************* You need to pay for the class to reserve your spot. If the class is costly we will take a deposit. But the balance is due at the first class. Most classes require sewing machines and general sewing supplies. If you can not bring a machine, check with us. Please note most classes start at 10:00 am I will try to note if the time is different. Classes for March March 6th or 9th Jacket Class Cost $15.00 plus your own sweat shirt and materials— by Nola Abraham March 20th Jacket Class Cost $25.00 plus $10.00 pattern and materials—this will be a shortened version of 2 day Class on 24th and 25th you will need to do homework before class. March 24th – 25th Jacket Class – Cost $25.00 plus $10.00 pattern and materials--This is a quilt as you go pattern and a very flattering jacket. We will cut out and get the project ready on the first day and make the jacket the second day. New beginner class March 5th and 6th last class in Beginner’s series - Cost $25.00 plus materials—you will make learn to finish a quilt: Borders, Basting, Quilting and Binding. Heart and Home Only one Kit still available This is a pieced and appliquéd quilt . All five house blocks are machine pieced. Appliqué details are easily done with fusible webbing. All the blocks and borders with binding are included with the monthly blocks. Finished quilt size is 72” x 63”. There are 6 Block a Month patterns to complete the quilt that inclued Heart and Home Accessory Fabric Packet. This quilt was made with fabrics from Maywood Studio. |

| FAQ-on Five Dollar Quilt What if I do not wish to continue this block a month? You are not committed; but if you miss quite a few months and wish to buy missed blocks you may need to check with us to hold them. Size? You will get 12- 12 ½” blocks. The size of your quilt will be determined by the way you set your blocks. We have an example of a completed lap quilt using the blocks. During the year we will try to have more ideas. What if I do not understand your directions or have questions on the block? We are here to help you through. You can call of e-mail me at or just come by and we will be glad to help you. We have UFO on the second Wednesday and second Saturday most months. You can bring your block in and make it here. Do I Wash? If you wish to wash: just hand wash and lay out to dry.. You can use Retain if you are concerned about bleeding or fading. I recommend that you wash the quilt with color grabbers the first time. If I am late or miss the date what do I do? You need to pay $5.00 and pick up a block in time to get it made before the next meeting. (plus state sales tax) If I wait until the next month and just pick up both blocks why does it cost me $10.00? If you wait until the next meeting you have missed a meeting ($5.00 cost) and you do not have the previous month block completed ($5.00 cost) a total of $10.00 to pick up two blocks. Remember others came by and picked the block they missed Paid $5.00. (plus state sales tax) Can a Friend pick up my block? Yes, for a cost of $5.00 come one can pick up your block for you? What if I do not have enough fabric? If we have made an error in packaging your fabrics or in the directions, we will replace needed fabrics. You can substitute a fabric from your stash. I recommend collecting some patriotic prints now. You make wish to make extra blocks or you may not like one of the fabrics we furnish. It can cost you to have to come in for mistakes made by either us or you. Why do I have to pay $5.00 if I miss the meeting? We have budgeted this as advertisement. In order to justify the cost I need to have you come into the shop each month. I do understand we all have tragedies and accidents that are beyond our control. I do have sympathy but if I change the rules for one I have to weight each excuse. If everyone understands this is worth the $5.00 and just pays for the blocks they miss, it is fair for all. |

NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT ASK. December 1st we will start a new 2010 five- dollar quilt. This promotional quilt can cost you as little as $5.00 for the blocks. But you must follow all the rules. Rules: Pay $5.00 for your first block and stay to see a promotional demo. Return on the given date and time the next month with completed block and stay to see a promotional demo. You will then receive the next month block at no cost. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE PROMOTIONAL WITH YOUR COMPLETED BLOCK YOURSELF; YOU WILL NEED TO PAY $5.00 FOR THE NEXT BLOCK TO CATCH UP. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT MEETING TO COME IN AND PICK UP YOUR BLOCK— BECAUSE YOU WILL THEN NEED TWO BLOCKS $10.00 This promotional is to get the word out and bring you in each month.
