Block Boot Camp
This class series is designed to teach you how to use a variety of Deb Tucker's tools. If you've taken one of my classes previously, you know I'm a huge fan of Deb Tucker's tools. They changed my quilting world and will change yours too. Deb uses a method with her tools which allows you to precisely trim down slightly over-sized blocks. Even though the blocks are constructed slightly over-sized, there is very little waste. This means your blocks go together nicely without losing points while maintaining accurate block size. I can't say enough about her tools and how easy they are to use. There are no Y seams involved!
This boot camp will walk you through step by step how to use several of Deb's rulers. We will be making several star blocks like the Hunter's Star and the Lemoyne Star, as well as several combination blocks. They'll all be 12" x 12" blocks that you'll be able to use in a quilt. No patterns needed. I'll have handouts.
