Barn Raising Quilt



Using a layer cake (or (42) 10" squares) and charm squares  (or (42) 5" squares) with good presentation of light and dark for contrast you will get the design of the quilt.

Requirements: Barn Raising pattern by Kansas Trouble, as well as their Five and Dime Ruler, Fabric glue pen like a lapel pen or Sewline Glue pen, Layer Cake (or 42 10" squares), Charm pack (or 42 5" squares), 1/2 yard for first border, 2.23 yards for outer border, 100% cotton thread to match fabric (for top stitching), 1/4" piecing foot, pins, scissors, marking tool like a magic wand or similar, sewline pencil or frixion pen, Rotary Cutter (sharp to get through multiple layers), long ruler at least 15" long, Best Press, Ruler to square up HSTS to 9.5". I used the Tucer Trimmer III (recommended, not required)
