| Requirements: | Tools Needed: Working sewing machine with a quarter inch (1/4") piecing foot Tucker Trimmer I by Studio 180 Designs Scissors Pins Rotary Cutter with new blade Seam Ripper Fabric marking pen (Frixion pen) 6.5"x12" ruler (or similar size) Optional: Magic Wand by Studio 180 Designs Note: We will have irons and cutting mats set up in the classroom, but feel free to bring your own. Supplies Needed: 50 weight 100% cotton thread Charm Pack for the 32" square quilt or a Layer Cake for the 72" square quilt Background fabric 3/4 yard for the 32" square quilt or 2 2/3 yards for the 72" square quilt Binding fabric 1/4 yard binding for the 32" square quilt or 2/3 yard for the 72" quilt Backing fabric 1 yard for the 32" square quilt or 4 1/2 yards for the 72" quilt Note: You may decide to add borders to enlarge your quilt. If so, you'll need to adjust your binding and backing fabric totals. |
